You can choose to buy a completed property or buy a property off-plan before construction. The purchase of an off-plan property is then governed by the off-plan sales contract VEFA « Vente en l’État Futur d’Achèvement » (Sale in the Future State of Completion).


It is essential to control the total cost of your project in order to obtain the correct financing for instance. Buying off-plan and renting your furnished property may allow you to save 20% of the purchase price of your property through the refunding of VAT by the French Tax Administration.

Buying new estate off-plan through VEFA (Vente en État Futur d’Achèvement) means opting for a project that best suits you.

Investing before the construction of the property of your choice allows you to request modifications in order to create the accommodation of your dreams.

These modifications called TMA in French (Travaux Modificatifs Acquéreurs, i.e. Purchaser’s Modification Works) imply that you adapt the plans to your taste so as to get the development of an interior that best suits you.
