Social Responsability

Our real estate programs integrate with the surrounding urbanism and architecture. From design to production, we prefer to use noble materials (stones, slate, wood, old wood, etc.) meeting sustainable development requirements. We are looking for innovative solutions to combat global warming, from design to operation.

Compliance with building standards

All of our residences, hotels and chalets comply with current standards (RT2012, RE2020, DTU, hand accessibility, acoustics, seismic, etc.). Since 2022, our new housing projects have incorporated the RE2020 Environmental Regulation standard, which is more ambitious and demanding for the construction sector, and is part of a continuous and progressive action in favour of energy-efficient buildings.

In this context, in addition to the traditional energy still needed in the mountains, natural energy inputs are favored from the design stage: solar energy, wood pellets, heat pumps.

Materials used for our residences

For the durability of buildings, concrete, stone and wood construction is preferred with thermal insulation from the outside, aiming to minimize energy consumption. We particularly favour the use of old reclaimed wood, which allows to improve the aesthetic rendering while offering a durable solution, because it no longer requires any treatment (lasure or paint). In cases where the use of new wood is necessary, especially for structural elements of buildings (frames, etc.), we prefer the use of factory-treated wood (steaming, heat-treated) Promoting the durability of the material and reducing the use of the lasures during installation and for routine maintenance.

Supply during construction

Mountain constructions use a large amount of wood (structure, frame, cladding, parquet, panelling, kitchen, layout, etc.). We are therefore attentive to the origin of the wood used in our constructions, by favouring the species of softwood coming from France or Europe.

During earthworks, local solutions are preferred for cuttings, in order to limit transport to valleys and reduce the carbon footprint. We prefer to work local companies to reduce the carbon impact of companies working on our sites and contribute to the economic development of mountain villages near our achievements.

Treatment and recycling of our waste

Sorting is imposed on all our sites. If possible, the earthworks are reworked on site to allow a reuse of materials: reuse of stones and boulders extracted during earthworks, crushing done locally…
